The Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) is the central forum for discussing “the three dimensions of sustainable development – economic, social and environmental.”
Based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a set of attainable and measurable objectives accepted by all 193 member states of the United Nations in 2015, the ECOSOC aims to create a sustainable and cohesive international society.
